FOTOS! Here again are photos of KTLA and Miss USA 1994 Lu Parker and boyfriend Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

The dating of Lu Parker and Mayor Villaraigosa was revealed in June of this year.

In 1994, Lu Parker won Miss South Carolina USA. Parker then nabbed the title of Miss USA 1994. And when she competed in the Miss Universe, she finished 4th in the world.

Today viewers see Parker on KTLA … and with Villaraigosa. But in June, initial questions if Parker and Villaraigosa were not revealed openly first by the Mayor’s office; instead the initial details came from  another news channel. Villaraigosa had previously dated Telemundo’s Mirthala Salinas.

In 2007, Lu joined “KTLA Morning News” at 5 am, then January 2008 became the main weather anchor for KTLA Prime News. By summer 2009 Parkler was co anchoring the weekend evening news.

Villaraigosa did not reveal his alleged relationship in June. Rather it was a KTLA competitor station, NBC 4, that first broke the details that Villaraigosa was now in love with another Los Angeles tv anchor.

NBC 4 TV at the time ran a picture of the two together calling them “chummy”. Jason Ball, KTLA news director, issued the following statement about Antonio and Lu back in July:

“Now that we’re aware of the relationship, she will no longer be covering local politics. I have the utmost faith in Lu Parker’s abilities.”
