Va’Shaundya O’Neal (aka Shaunie O’Neal) and Shaq have had marital issues since at least 2008 as profiled on LALATE at the time. Now, nearly two years later, Va’Shaundya O’Neal is seeking legal separation and divorce.

For readers, Shaq’s marital problems are not new. A reported said $900,000 in monthly expenses were claimed during the couple’s dispute in January last year.

Shaq vs the mortgage bill – reportedly $156,000 a month. Shaq vs. the vacation bills – reportedly $110,000 a month.

In January 2008, LALATE then profiled the martial problems between Va’Shaundya and Shaq. At the time a report claimed Shaq’s monthly expenses were $875,0000. Reports said his bills include “$156,116 for mortgages on three homes, $3,345 in phone bills, $1,610 in lawn and pool maintenance, $12,775 for food, $10,065 for electricity, $1,495 for cable TV, $24,300 for gas, $6,730 for dry cleaning, $17,220 for clothing, $2,305 for pets and $110,505 for vacations.”

O’Neal’s separation and divorce case will reportedly be handled in Los Angeles. The couple lives in Florida but reports say Va’Shaundyanow lists Los Angeles as her home. The couple have 4 minor children that Shaunie is seeking sole custody.
