PHOTOS! Sammy Sosa’s skin may photograph more white, but blanco it is not. Sammy Sosa skin was not bleached but underwent a “rejuvenation process”, a “cleansing” process, claims a friend of Sosa’s.

While the net asked Saturday if Sammy Sosa bleached his skin, his friend Rebecca Polihronis told the Chicago Tribune Sunday that Sosa’s apparent change in skin color is caused by a “rejuvenation process”, a “cleansing” process.

Sosa doesn’t himself give the interview; Rebecca doesn’t explain what cleansing process this was; but nevertheless, here is the result. Above is Sosa before, here is Sosa photographed last week:

As profiled on LALATE Saturday, Sosa became all the chatter on Yahoo News for an apparent change in eye and skin appearances, with some questioning hair also.

Rebecca’s comments don’t address the eyes. She admits Sosa “did come out looking weird (in the picture)”.

But is there change to hair and eyes also? Are these green contacts? Yahoo News thinks they are fake green contacts. But is something else going on? Sosa is here photographed before the Grammys at a pre telecast event to honor music great Juan Gabriel last week.  No direct comment by Sosa to the reports.

Sosa’s friend says Sammy is “going through a rejuvenation process for his skin”. She says that women do it all the time. She calls pictures of the change “deceiving” and claims Sosa said “When you see me in person, it is not going to seem like the picture.”
