PHOTOS! Here again are pictures of Sammy Sosa’s skin change. Sammy Sosa allegedly admits his skin change look to friends due to a “rejuvenation process”, a “cleansing” process, but asserts he is not as light as pictures taken last week.

Beyond his skin, no comment about his eye color nor hair is made. The remarks about skin “cleansing” appear in the Chicago Tribune this weekend not from Sosa himself but from a friend Rebecca Polihronis.

As profiled first on LALATE, the Latin Grammys held in Las Vegas this week may have hardly turned up on the media radar (except a brief mention on this site). But by Saturday, press were chattering, not about the Latin Grammys, but about pictures of Sammy Sosa’s face. Above is Sosa in the past. Here is Sosa this week:

Sosa’s friend says Sammy is “going through a rejuvenation process for his skin”. She says that women do it all the time. She calls pictures of the change “deceiving” and claims Sosa said “When you see me in person, it is not going to seem like the picture.”

She admits Sosa “did come out looking weird (in the picture)”.

But is there change to hair and eyes also? Are these green contacts? Yahoo News thinks they are fake green contacts. But is something else going on? Sosa is here photographed before the Grammys at a pre telecast event to honor music great Juan Gabriel. No direct comment by Sosa to the reports.
