HR 3962 Vote!

Posted: November 8th, 2009 in Health by LALATE

HR 3962 Vote

RESULTS! Who voted for HR 3962? Here is the HR 3962 COMPLETE House vote result. HR 3962 votes drew no Republicans except Joseph Cao.

Here is the latest.

Late Saturday night, the House passed the Health Care Bill HR 3962 but with notable opposition. The opposition came from freshman Democrats, districts that voted for McCain not Obama, southern states, and especially freshmen Democrats from swing districts.

Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond, the archbishop of New Orleans, issued the following statement Saturday supporting Joseph Cao’s vote across party lines:

“I am grateful to Congressman Cao for his courage and determination to defend life. I appreciate his work to prevent abortion from being included in health care reform and for protecting conscience rights of health care professionals. I – and, I am sure, many in New Orleans would join me – [I] appreciate Congressman Cao’s commitment to the people of New Orleans.”

Cao justified his vote by the following:

“I have always said that I would put aside partisan wrangling to do the business of the people. My vote tonight was based on my priority of doing what is best for my constituents.”

“Before the Stupak-Pitts amendment was adopted as part of this health reform bill, the bill failed to explicitly include the longstanding policy prohibiting federal funding of elective abortion and plans which include elective abortion.”

“Thank to the Stupak-Pitts Amendment, taxpayer dollars will not go to supporting elective abortions, and for thousands of my constituents, this was a top priority. By incorporating this amendment into the health reform bill, my colleagues and I made this bill better, and that is an achievement of which I will always be proud.”

Here is the final vote. (To expedite your search, use the Ctrl + F key and type in their last night.)

The Democrate spoke so highly for HR 3962

Was there any comment concerning placing themselves on the same health care plan they voted to place me on?

H.R. 3962 delivers increased bureaucray at the hands of the federal government, and lost in its wake is increased care of U.S. citizens and their health. Shame on every member of congress who voted “aye”… for your yes will soon become “no” to millions of Americans whom you took an oath to serve.

Rest assured, 75%+ of the puppet freshmen democrats that voted for this train wreck will be gone in 2010. These people will rue the day they walked the plank for Pelosi.

And to the RINO that supported this thing, start packing now.

I am a widow and a Senior citizen. I have limited income, but I have good health insurance with a Humana Medicare Advantage Plan. I don’t want Socialized Healthcare or a Socialized Government. I don’t want to pay for healthcare for illegal immigrants, or those who could provide their own health insurance if they didn’t drink, smoke, gamble, or buy expensive things they can’t afford. Too many want everything handed to them. Those who are truly needy should have help, but not the deadbeats. When this bill goes to the Senate; if Senators Bayh and Lugar vote to cut Medicare Advantage Plans, we Indiana Seniors will vote them out of office in 2010.
