VIDEO! Watch video of the Racehorse Zenyatta winning the 2009 Breeders Cup Classic! Horse Zenyatta won the Breeders Cup 2009 today before a packed Santa Anita, earning $5 million and a spot in history.

Zenyatta’s rider Mike smile called her Horse of the Decade, one of the best of all time. Zenyatta is the first female to win the Classic in 26 years. Zenyatta won over Gio Ponti. Twice Over finished third.

Zenyatta is 5 years old, the daughter of Street Cry, and paid $7.60 to win. Zenyatt is owned by Jerry and Ann Moss. Filly Rachel Alexandra skipped the Breeders’ Cup.
