The Yankees 2009 Parade route will be the same path as the 2008 Giants Parade. NY Transit has made route scheduling adjustments to offset increased passengers.
Millions will line the parade route Friday. The 1996 and 1998 Yankees Parades each drew over 3.5 million fans. In recent years, players have rode on a double deck bus while the Series MVP rode on his own float.

After the parade, an expected private affair is anticipated at City Hall.

The Yankees have achieved a level of success in the world of baseball that is so gaudy, so well known, and so storied picking a handful of players to call their all time best is no easy task. They should be always competitive enough to keep pace with the others. I used to attend their games even their tickets get sold out.
