Fort Hood residents of Killeen today remember the mass murder by George Hennard. George Hennard in 1991 killed 23 at Luby’s Cafeteria.

Now 18 years after the Hennard attack, sadness has hit Killeen again today. On October 16, 1991, George Hennard rammed his pickup truck through a window of local cafeteria Luby’s. Hennard would kill himself after taking the lives of 23 others.

Today Malik Nadal Hasan killed at least 11 and injured 31, the death toll expected to rise.
