Is Ernie Accorsi the Browns new GM? The Browns are considering Ernie Accorsi as their new GM to replace fired George Kokinis.

Ernie Accorsi is talking with the Browns about the General Manager position reports ESPN.com. Just Monday, LALATE broke to you that George Kokinis was fired by the Browns in a season that has gone nowhere.

The Browns later confirmed Kokinis was fired saying he “is not longer actively involved with the organization”. Kokinis has produced a 1-7 record this season and 30-6 loss against the Bears last Sunday.

Ernie Accorsi’s last position was GM of the Giants from 1998 to 2006 and is credited for the trade that got Eli Manning to the team. He lead the team to the Super Bowl in 2001. But many contend Ernie’s trades resulted in the team’s Super Bowl win 1 year after he retired.
