Diamond Bar Fire!
BREAKING NEWS - A fire has broke out in Diamond Bar. The Diamond Fire broke out in 8 separate fires within the half hour. Diamond Bar Fire officials are putting residents on immediate fire alert.
Here is the latest.
Roughly 30 minutes ago, LALATE saw spiked readership of its 2008 Diamond Fire story. It is at that time, roughly 11:45 am PST, that Steve Zermeno, LAFD Inspector, said initial calls of fire outbreaks were hitting Diamond Bar. Now as of 12:30 am, reports say as many as five to eight separate distinct fires are burning, their locations all close to the 60 Freeway.
150 firefighters are on the scene.
Unconfirmed reports say Diamond Ranch High School is under evacuation. Diamond Bar Blvd is closed at eastbound 60.

confirmed … we saw Diamond Ranch HS being evac’d as we were coming from Chino Hills; we were not allowed to make a u-turn because the fire was coming right up to the street; rather we were diverted through Phillips Ranch to get back to the 71.
