Phillies Yankees Game 4 Score!

The Phillies Yankees Game 4 final score was 7-4. But until the 9th, the Phillies and Yankees were tied at 4-4.
In Game 4, the Phillies continued their hot cold trend – hot in early innings, cold in later. The game would not even had been tied if not for the consistent Utley homering in the 7th.
In fact, the Phillies with the exception of Utley didn’t produce a run since the 4th. That won’t win a world series. The Phillies have to produce numbers in later innings to stay in this series.
Damon came to bat and had over 10 foul ball hits. Damon has consistently delivered, not so much Teixeira next at bat.
Finally Damon hit a sinker putting him on base. Next Teixiera came to bat. Early in the count, Damon made the steal for second. After Damon slid into 2nd, he already had seen no man at 3rd. Damon kept running and stole all the way to 3rd.
Teixera advanced to first after being hit.
Finally at bat came A-Rod. A-Rod delivered a blazing single bringing Damon in for the scoring run. Yankees were now up 5-4. Then Posada delivered a deep single, bringing Teixeira and A-Rod home. New York had the lead 7-4.
At the bottom of the 9th, Phillies failed to deliver. This is the third game in a row in which the Phillies put runs up in early innings and failed to deliver numbers later in the game.
New York leads the series 3-1.
