MAP! Here is a map of the 2009 NYC Halloween Parade Carnival route. The 36th Annual New York Village Halloween Parade provides train station details to all NYC residents arriving for the excitement Saturday.

The Parade includes “Hundreds of Puppets, 42 Bands of different types of music, Dancers and Artists, and Thousands of Other New Yorkers inn Costumes of their own creation in this new brand of Carnivale!

The New York Village Halloween Parade starts at 7 p.m. But if you want to be in the parade, you need to get there 30 minutes before. It runs until 11 pm. The location is Greenwich Village, on 6th Avenue South of Spring Street & above Canal right across from HERE Arts Center, the Halloween Parade’s Theatrical Home in NYC.

Organizers remind attendees “The Parade takes until 8:15 to move out. Join the Parade at the beginning and approach the Line-up only from the South and the East. Streets West of 6th are closed by the Police.”

In Average Cat, Beanie Sigel disses Jay-Z in the new download track heaing up Friday.  Beanie Sigel disses Jay-Z in stunning lyrics on Average Cat after appearing alongside on stage with Jay-Z.

As covered earlier today on LALATE, Jadakiss brought Beanie Sigel on stage to which Beanie responded by performing “Feel It in the Air” (2005) and Blueprint 3 introduction (Jay-Z).

Chatter claims that Sigel performs the final verse of Feel it in the Air as follows:

“I read between the lines of your eyes and your brows / Your handshake ain’t match your smile / These n-s foul…. Already….. Love you Philly. This is my mutha-ing house. I run this town tonight!”

MAP! Here is a map of the NYC Marathon Course Route for Sunday. The 2009 NYC Marathon Course Route starts in Staten Island.

Immediately the marathon heads over the Verrazano Narrows Bridge arriving in Brooklyn’s Dyker Heights. When you arrive in Brooklyn, your streets will start in the 90s and count all the way down to zero once passing Sunset Park and entering Park Slope.

In Wiliamsburg, Greenpoint, and Long Island City, you’ll have approximately 5 miles. When you leave Queens and Long Island City, you will be a the 15 mile mark.

It’s then time for the fun as the race enters into Manhattan at east 59 and heads up 1st Avenue. You will stay on 1st and go from 59 to 125th, out of Manhattan, and into the Bronx. The race only stays 1 mile in the Bronx before re-entering Manhattan.

At that point you are at mile 21. You will reenter Manhattan on 5th Ave and head straight down from 138th to roughly 87th where you then enter Central Park. The rest of the race will remain in Central Park.

How similar is Adam Lambert’s “For Your Entertainment” to Sam Sparro’s “Black and Gold”? Below are the audios of Sam Sparro’s Black and Gold compared to Adam Lambert’s Four Your Entertainment which are heading up both blog debates Friday.

Lambert works with Sparro on his upcoming album. Recent Lambert twittered about Sparro “On my way to songwriting session with the brilliant Sam Sparro!”

The question fans and critics are debating Friday is whether the hook on For Your Entertainment is all so new? Lambert has previously admitted he would “nod” to the feel of previous sounds but use a modern sound. So does Lambert think this song uses a beat which is new or a nod?

“So lots of hooks, lots of beats on there to make people dance with an electronic production. So it’s definitely going to sound modern but with like a node to the 60s and 70s rock feel and the 80s.”

On RollingStone.com Friday, most readers really love the song. But even among those fans, comments have included  the following:
