Larry Johnson Twitter Slur - What did Larry Johnson Say!

Larry Johnson’s slurs will be ruled on by the NFL today. What did Larry Johnson say on Twitter? Larry Johnson’s Twitter gay slur was followed with comments featuring the gay slur again to press, claims the Kansas City Star.
Johnson says he is sorry for the slurs. But is sorry enough? The slurs came after a series of Johnson Twitter comments in which he bragged about himself being born to a famous father and trashing his current coach.
What a class act.
In fact what IS sorry is Johnson’s stats this season. With a pricey NFL contract, many analysts question if the Chiefs will use Larry Johnson’s comments as reason to get out of her rich contract. Johnson is a RB who is not performing well for his paycheck this season.
Johnson has been below average this season with just 358 yards, 132 rushes, and far cry from the 1800 yards he ran in 2006 as a former two time Pro Bowler.
In fact, Chiefs fans will remember Johnson was also under fire in 2008 for questionable conduct. Johnson was benched last season by then coach Herman Edwards for three games for unknown team violations. That same year, one woman said he poured a drink on her, another said he pushed her, separate times at nightclubs.
Many feel Larry Johnson’s apology yesterday is much the same as his 2008 which read: “I’m going to work to that point to get my life back on track and know that I and I alone put myself in these critical situations and environments to where things don’t come out favorably to me.”
Compare that 2008 apology to yesterday’s comments:
“The words were used by me in frustration and they were not appropriate. I did not intend to offend anyone but that is no excuse for what I said”
“I regret my actions. The words were used by me in frustration, and they were not appropriate,” he said through a spokesman. “I did not intend to offend anyone, but that is no excuse for what I said.”
Johnson apologized to “all the kids who view athletes as role models. I was not a good role model yesterday and hopefully I can become a better role model. We all make mistakes, and the challenge is to learn from them.
The tweet comments by Larry Johnson started initially on Sunday; Johnson was heating up Twitter with a series of comments against rookie head coach Toddy Haley.
One tweet read
“My father played for the coach from “remember the titans.” Our coach played golf. My father played for redskins briefly. Our coach. Nuthn.”
During that series of Twitter posts came a reported use of the slur.
Then Monday the Kansas City Star said Johnson used the slur again when he wouldn’t speak with reporters. “Johnson turned away and whispered Get your f— out of here.”
On Tuesday the Chiefs have barred Johnson from practice.
“I will do my best to learn from this one as I move toward becoming a better person, teammate, and member of the Kansas City Chiefs team and community.”
