Magic Johnson Isiah Thomas Feud!

A feud prompted Magic Johnson to get Isiah Thomas blocked from the 1992 Olympic Dream Team. Magic Johnson’s Isiah Thomas feud is exposed by Johnson in When the Game Was Ours, his new book co authored with Larry Bird.
Thomas tells press he is “hurt” by the news it was Johnson who blocked him. For years, Thomas said he had accepted Michael Jordan’s statement that he was not the person behind the blocking. Thomas tells AP he never knew it was Magic, until now.
Excepts from the book revealed today have Magic writing the following:
“Isiah killed his own chances when it came to the Olympics. Nobody on that team wanted to play with him. … I’m sad for Isiah. He has alienated so many people in his life, and he still doesn’t get it. He doesn’t understand why he wasn’t chosen for that Olympic team and that’s really too bad. You should be aware when you’ve ticked off more than half of the NBA.”
Johnson adds that his lost friendship with Thomas was “the biggest personal disappointment of my life … nothing else is even close” writing that Thomas “was like my brother”.
“When the Game Was Ours” comes out November 4.

It is a sad day for anyone who really knows and follows the history of the NBA. The NBA would not be where it is right now without these two, It is a shame that a great frienship will be ruin because of greed and publicity for a book. Magic certainly does not need the money therefore he did it for payback of some sorts. This shows you that magic is shady and chose not to adress the issue man to man with isiah. It also shows that he has poor values and clearly proves that he ( to my surprise) is of poor character , If he does this to his friends who won’t he do it to .
