Here again are pictures of Steve Phillips’ secret girlfriend Brooke Hundley. The Steve Phillips Brooke Hundley ESPN girlfriend affair was no secret for Marni Phillips  shortly after it ended.

And as of sunrise Wednesday, it was also no longer a secret to American baseball fans. Steve Phillips’ story with Brooke Hundley is unlike other major media reported affair of 2009  – allegations of stalking Phillips’ son on Facebook and AOL.com, allegations of phone stalking Phillips’ wife Marni with a casted phone caller from Craigslist.

It was very clear this was not your ordinary mistress story.

When finally over two dozen pictures of Brooke Hundley came out, people began to question why Phillips was cheating? Why did Phillips specifically cheat with Hundley? That question may never be answered. Steve Phillips is not explaining either, issuing a statement about his affair with the ESPN production member as simply: “I am deeply sorry that I have put my family and colleagues through this. It is a personal matter that I will not comment on further.”

ESPN has put Phillips on a leave of absence. “We were aware of this and took appropriate discipline at the time.”

“At this point I began to feel a heightened sense of vulnerability as this woman was aware of my husband’s rigorous travel schedule. I was unable to sleep. I paced the perimeter of my house, constantly checking the safety of my sons.“

That is how Marni Philips detailed the concern Brooke Hundley put her in during a police incident report. Marni Phillips adds of Brooke Hundley that she left her family terrrified:

“Needless to say, as a mother with four young sons, I am terrified. I fear greatly for the safety and well being of my sons and for myself. … I am currently pursuing drastic and costly security precautions such as hiring an off duty Wilton Police officer to stand guard. “

“Hi Marni, My name is Brooke. I work with Steve and he I got into a pretty heated argument on Sunday about the fact he hasn’t been honest with you about our relationship. You see I’m the woman he’s been seeing for awhile now and I’m not just random girl he had … in parking lots”
