PHOTOS! Here are statements by Steve Phillips’ wife Marni Phillips about his alleged affair scandal with Brooke Hundley. Marni Phillips calls the Steve Phillips Brooke Hundley affair a “brief consensual affair”.
Marni Phillips said she was “unable to sleep”, “constantly checking the safety of my sons” in a statement she gives to police. Marni, Steve, and their son would each give separate statements. Following Steve’s statement about Brooke Hundley earlier on LALATE, Marni details the terror she felt as he husband was on the road while a “this woman was well aware of my husband’s rigorous travel schedule”.
Steve Philips claims his brief three encounters with Brooke Hundley started July 13, 2009 in St Louis. Phillips says after that he broke up with Hundley.

Marnin details alleged calls and texts starting August 5.
“She reached me via cell phone at 10:30 that evening. I simply told her that I would not accept her phone and promptly hung up. She responded by calling our home and my cell phone repeatedly. It was close to 11 pm and the constant ringing of phone in the house caused stress to myself and my two teenage sons who were awake. I was able to reach Steve who was working late at ESPN in Bristol, CT. He came home that night and revealed to me he had been having a brief consensual affair with a woman named Brooke Hundley at ESPN.”
By August 16, Marni says she was very concerned:
“On Sunday August 16 my husband called me from Atlanta and told me to brace myself because she was threatening to call me and disclose intimate details of their affair. .. The tone of the text message [she sent] was “I care about Steve, I make him happy and we both can’t have him”. “

“At this point I began to feel a heightened sense of vulnerability as this woman was aware of my husband’s rigorous travel schedule. I was unable to sleep. I paced the perimeter of my house, constantly checking the safety of my sons.“
Marni Phillips ends her statement about Brooke Hundley as follows:
“Needless to say, as a mother with four young sons, I am terrified. I fear greatly for the safety and well being of my sons and for myself. … I am currently pursuing drastic and costly security precautions such as hiring an off duty Wilton Police officer to stand guard. “
Following the press report, Hundley, the Phillips and ESPN have yet to comment.

It’s wonderful to see Mr Philips being dragged through the mud .and most of all to be hit in his pocket and the high visibility of his stupidly ,shown to his peers and the public.
What a splendid day to see this piece of GARBAGE outed .

Dumb, dumb, dumb, DUMB. SP is a very selfish person only thinking about himself to get his rocks off. How pathetic for a 46 year old father (can’t call him a man). This will forever be ingrained in the his kids’ psyche. How horrible to put those boys in such agony. That is just unspeakable pain. Regardless if the mother was a little “nutzo” (who are we to judge), I can wager they will always stand by their Mom…forever. That is a fact.
