Highest Scoring NFL Game?
The Patriots set several highest scoring NFL Game record tonight. The Patriots matched a record for the highest scoring margin since the NFL AFL merger in 1970.
Tonight’s Patriots Titans 59-0 win ties the 1976 record set by the Los Angeles Rams’ 59-0 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Also, 45-0 was set tonight as the highest scoring NFL halftime time lead ever. On top of that, Tom Brady set a record with five TD passes in one quarter. He also tied his own record of six TD passes in one half.
Total yards tonight – 619 Patriots, 186 Titans. Brady was 29 for 34 with 380 yards, Welker delivered 10 receptions and 150 yards with 2 TDS, Moss got 3 TDs with just 8 receptions.
