INJURY UPDATE – Clifton Smith has a concussion because of that Dante Wesley hit. Dante Wesley’s hit (video below) got him ejected. Is a suspension next for Wesley?

Bucs are now confirming that following that Dante Wesley hit, Clifton  Smith has a concussion, the severity of which won’t be known until tests believed scheduled for Monday.

Dante Wesley hit Smith with 10 second left in the second quarter. As covered earlier on LALATE, the field was then filled with both teams’ players. Smith was able to walk off the field. Panthers were given a 15 yard penalty.

Wesley was ejected. The league has yet to rule on a possible suspension. Smith had called for a fair catch, instead got an unprovoked hit by Wesley.
