What is Rush Limbaugh’s Net Worth?
Question – Just exactly how rich is Rush Limbaugh? Answer – Limbaugh’s net worth now puts in a bid for the St Louis Rams.
While Dave Checketts and Rush Limbaugh are not disclosing today who else (if at all) is part of the team of investors making a bid to buy the St Louis Rams, many are asking the obvious – is this a deal that puts Rush the sole big money investor at the table?
Here are the numbers.
In July 2008, the New York and Los Angeles Times gave us a glimpse at the richness of Rush. The reports claimed that from 2001 to 2009 an eight year radio contract paid Rush Limbaugh a total of $285 million.
The new contract, 2009 to 2016, is reportedly a staggering $400 million. For that report, insider Michael Harrison called Limbaugh the “best talent on the air in modern broadcasting”.
How does that compare against … for example Glenn Beck? Beck is paid $50 million for a 2007 to 2012 contract.
Rush told the St Louis Business Journal (ironically also in July 2008) that “The Rams would be a great team to have … my desire to get involved has not been a secret.”

With the season almost gone now, Boring commentary
