UPDATE – In a fourth update on Tim Tebow’s concussion injury, Tebow is expected to start against LSU. Tebow suffered an injury being knocked out (see YouTube video below) Saturday against Kentucky.
But good Tebow Tuesday news awaits! Tim is expected to be ready for UF’s next game October 10 against LSU. Florida press has been critical how UF has been vague about Tebow’s condition, much like their handling of flu stories among their football stars.
However, Gators are saying Tebow will undergo a new round of tests Tuesday, suffers some headaches, but is expected to be fine for October 10 against LSU. After the hit Saturday, Urban Meyer was the first to suggest Tebow may have suffered a concussion. But as of Tuesday, Meyer still says the team doesn’t know the grade of the concussion.

Urban Meyer had said in a post game press conference Saturday that he suspected a concussion for Tebow. Tebow after being taken to UK Medical Center was improving, coherent, talking and laughing.
Until then, Tebow had delivered 103 yards of passing, with 1 TD, and 5 for 10; he ran 123 yards and earned two TDs.
Gators coach Urban Meyer told press late Sunday:
“Tim is doing fine this morning. His CT scans came back and indicated that Tim suffered a concussion. Our medical and athletic training staff will continue to monitor him to determine how much rest and recovery he needs. We will have additional information and updates this week.”
Tebow was released from the hospital Sunday evening.
