PHOTOS! Here again are pictures of Samantha Geimer who wanted charges against Roman Polanski dropped. Samantha Geimer was the Roman Polanski 13 year old girl in 1977 that today is back in the headlines with the arrest of Polanski.
After 30 years, Polanski has been arrested and now faces extradition.

Polanski was detained Saturday in Switzerland. Polanski had left France, where he is a citizen, to receive a lifetime achievement award fro the Zurich Film Festival. There the Swiss Federal Department detained him.
Back in January, LALATE reported how Geminer wanted the charges against Roman Polanski dropped. Samantha Geimer is furious that U.S. prosecutors are still pursuing prosecution of Polanski three decades later.
Polanski fled the U.S. to avoid the charges. Samantha Geimer said in January that continual discussion of the details of her case decades later by prosecutors “causes harm to me, my husband and children”.
Roman Polanksi had sought dismissal of her charges on January 21, but the court said he needs to appear in person. Geimer says that’s a “a cruel joke”. Polanski fled the U.S. in 1978 and hasn’t been in the country since. In 2002 he won the Oscar for The Pianist.
Greimer, now 45, told the court in a written statement this January:
“If Polanski cannot stand before the court to make this request, I, as the victim, can and I, as the victim do. I have urged that this matter come to a formal legal end. I have urged that the district attorney and the court dismiss these charges.”
“… I am no longer a 13-year-old child. I have dealt with the difficulties of being a victim, have surmounted and surpassed them with one exception.
“Every time this case is brought to the attention of the Court, great focus is made of me, my family, my mother and others. That attention is not pleasant to experience and is not worth maintaining over some irrelevant legal nicety, the continuation of the case.”
Geimer long ago came public with her identity. Geimer is today 45 and married with three children. Geimer nor Polanksi has yet to issue a statement Sunday.
Polanski’s films include Chinatown, the Pianist, and Rosemary’s Baby. His second wife was Sharon Tate, killed in the 1969 Charles Manson murders.

What a scum bag Polanski is. But, worse is the why all of Hollywood & the French not only protect this prevert but almost worship him. He such a romantic that he had to get her drunk, then drugs, & then rap this little girl. I just wish the judge then had kept his mouth shut & not scared the crep off.

Where were the parents of that 13year old girl? What kind of parent lets a young daughter party alone with two old. horny men? C’mon! She had a boyfriend that was four years older…shouldn’t he have been accused of sex with an underage girl as well?
