VIDEO! Here is youtube video of Tim Tebow being knocked out tonight. Tebow was hit and injured in the third quarter, his injury status not officially updated yet by the Gators Saturday night. Tebow was knocked out cold after the leg of Marcus Gilbert impacted Tebow’s head. Florida was leading 31 – 7.

Following the hit, Tebow was knocked out for a few minutes. His parents rushed to the field. Thereafter, Tebow was able to walk off the field but reportedly was vomiting. New reports say that Tebow’s neck clearly snapped and had to have at minimum suffered “at least a mild concussion” while other reports say emphatically he was “knocked out with head injury”. Yet, analysts wonder why – with Florida leading at that point – Tebow was even in the game at all, clearly already suffering respiratory problems.

“With the game in hand, and a defense that was shutting Kentucky down series after series, why in the world was Tebow in the game at that point! That was my thought even before he got waxed.”

Tebow was one 30 some players suffering illnesses at game time. As reportedly earlier on LALATE, for Saturday’s game, Tebow had traveled separately with other sick athletes due to health issues. Recently coach Meyer had confirmed he had 35 Gators with flu like symptoms but wouldn’t confirm Tebow’s health status.
