Now the man charged in her death, Joel Courtney, as a provision of his plea agreement told investigators where Brooke’s body was left in 2004.

Courtney will get life in prison without parole and not the death penalty for the deal.

Brooke was 19 at the time she went missing in May 2004. By August, police had 19 charges against Courtney in the Wilberger case. No statement was issued by her family today.
