The owners who lost the home were Lawrence and Linda Elins; their agent at the time was Irene Dazzan-Palmer. Neighbors claim Cheronda Guyton’s name was gotten from the Colony’s guards:
Residents of the gated Malibu Colony said they obtained Guyton’s nameĀ from the community’s guards, who had issued her a homeowner’s parking pass.
The house is 3800 squate feet, built in the early 1990s.
The Elins reportedly gave the house back to the back after their lost a vast sum of wealth to Madoff. Wells Fargo says it’s investigating, Guyton has yet to comment.

Somehow I do not feel sorry for the morgage holder or Cheronda Guyton. The mortgage holder who lost the property lost their house because they wanted something for nothing as it seems most of Maddoff’s victims. Cheronda Guyton is just another wannabe.
