Mount Wilson Fire!

The Station Fire could take Mount Wilson Observatory says fire officials. Mt Wilson Observatory has the Station Fire on two sides Monday prompting officials to say they may loose the historic telecommunications center.
Mount Wilson - the communication hub for Southland residents - has been evacuated since Saturday and under control of Fire personnel.
Ray Dombroski for the US Forest Service told the LA Times Monday:
“There is a good chance the fire will hit Mt. Wilson today. The fire is currently on two sides of Mt. Wilson, about one-half mile to the north and about one mile southwest.”
Mt Wilson Road was closed at 6 am Monday, with firefighters removed from the mountain. LAFD says property damage is at $7,671,000 as of Monday.
Officials thought Mt Wilson would be lost Sunday night but fire drops worked, at least for then. 21 homes are believed lost in Tujunga Canyon, multiple residences in the area south of Acton.
