49er Auburn Fire!

The Auburn Fire aka the 49er Fire is 50% contained. The Auburn, CA 49er Fire had destroyed dozens of homes by Sunday.
Here is the latest on the Auburn, CA Fire.
Fire officials say they finally have the Auburn fire 50% contained, yet structures are still threatened at Highway 49 and Rock creek as of Monday at noon.
As many as 700 acres have been burned and dozens of homes and businesses destroyed as a stunning late Sunday afternoon fire burned through streets near Auburn, CA.
As reported earlier on LALATE, Evacuations Centers for the Auburn Fire are located at:
1. Rock Creek Elementary School
3050 Bell Road
2. Auburn Elementary
11400 Lariat Ranch Road
Officials now say pets can be brought to the Dewitt Center in Auburn. However the Auburn airport is closed as of Monday morning. Power had been lost to as many as 4000 homes on Sunday.
