Dozens of homes are lost in an Auburn, CA Fire Sunday. The Auburn California Fire is still not contained, with new fire evacuations updates.

Here is the latest on the Auburn, CA Fire.

As many as 700 acres have been burned and dozens of homes and businesses destroyed as a stunning late afternoon fire burned through streets near Auburn, CA. As of 7 pm PST Sunday, the fire is still not fully contained. The path of destruction started at 2 pm today at a core of Highway 49 between Locksley and Shale Ridge Lanes.

Power has been lost to as many as 4000 homes.

Evacuations Centers for the Auburn Fire are located at:

1. Rock Creek Elementary School
3050 Bell Road
2. Auburn Elementary
11400 Lariat Ranch Road

The fire as of tonight is only 25% contained.
