Sunda Croonquist is involved in a joke Lawsuit, literally. Comedian Sunda Croonquist’s lawsuit features lots of mother in law jokes. The plaintiff? The mother in law!
Comic Sunda Croonquist who often features mother in law jokes reportedly in live performances, tv appearances, and her website, is now being sued by the mother in law. Why?
The mother in law-suit claims Sunda is spreading false, defamatory and lies. While which jokes are at issue is not particular clear in a new report today, Sunda Croonquist has reportedly used the following mother in law jokes:
“OK, now that we know you’re having a little girl I want to know what you’re naming that little tchotchke. Now we don’t want a name that’s difficult to pronounce like Shaniqua. We’re thinking a name short but delicious. Like Hadassah or Goldie.”
“I walk in, I say, ‘Thank you so much for having me here …..’ She says, ‘The pleasure’s all mine, have a seat.'” Then, in a loud aside, ‘Harriet, put my pocketbook away.'”
The suit is filed in New Jersey, even though Sunda reportedly lives in Beverly Hills and appears often here at the Sunset Strip’s Laugh Factory.
