“There is a Brett Favre Goat in my truck!”

A woman told mechanics there is a Brett Favre goat in her truck. And she wasn’t kidding.

The woman stopped by Tires Plus to have her serpentine belt looked at. Perhaps her brain should have been looked at during the same visit. When she about to leave her car, after being told the car would be ready in an hour, she turned and said,

“[Oh] By the way. There’s a goat in my trunk.”

Say what? She repeated herself.

“There’s a goat in my trunk. I’m going to butcher him.”

On cue, the goat in the truck starts crying like a kid. When the mechanics opened the trunk - there he was - Brett Favre painted on a goat!

The goat was painted purple and gold and had Favre number four’s shaved in on both sides. The goat was taken by Animal Control, the woman was driving to Minneapolis. But it still appears uncertain if she was heading to Friday’s Vikings game. Now the goat has a new home, on a Wisconsin farm of Duane and Carlene Schultz.

Carlene says Brett Favre the goat is going to have a great year. Brett Favre the player? Carlene is not so sure:

“We think it’s a happy ending for this Brett. I don’t know how the ending will be for the other Brett.”
