Sander (aka Zoey Zane) disappeared November 23, 2007 leaving an El Dorado bar in Kansas allegedly with Mireles. Six days later Sander’s body was found.

Weeks later, Mireles was found in Mexico, extradited to the U.S.

In June LALATE first reported Mireles’ arrest in the Emily Sander investigation. Today Mireles faces his preliminary hearing. His attorney had no comment. Mireles will enter a plea today charged with multiple crimes including murder.

Sander was a student at Butler County District Court at the time of her death.
