Wow! Fantastic news about Clay Aiken and Decca Records. Maybe he will finally get the promotion he deserves as the first rate singer he is. His former label certainly didn’t do him any favors.

Can’t wait to hear his newest offering. Is it next year yet? :)

Don’t forget Rufus Wainwright and Sting!

Clay joins some legendary talent, and some great current voices. Truly, he is in stellar company!

I think this is a good fit. Decca’s artist list is very diverse, and they seem to sign artists with great voices who care about their craft.

Congrats to Clay. Maybe now he’ll get the promotion and respect that he deserves and people, besides Clay fans, will get to hear his marvelous voice. I always thought it was a shame that many people did not get to hear the wonderful songs on his last album – especially Falling.

  38. Bucky1215 said,

    on August 11th, 2009 at 10:22 am

Yay!! Here’s hoping Decca will appreciate his unbelievable talent (unlike his previous label), and promote him properly (instead of burying him in “no man’s land”) to keep him from winning the awards and accolades his OMWH CD of all new GREAT songs would have garnered. Congratulations Clay; we are all thrilled for you. Thanks LaLate for always being fair and supportive of our guy. GO CLAY & DECCA RECORDS!

Congratulations, Decca! You will soon have a tax write-off, as Clay Aiken’s CD’s do.not.sell. He can’t even GIVE his songs away…LOL!!

  45. kfccanada said,

Wow! Clay’s talent will shine beside all those other ‘classic’ Decca artists…..including the one and only Dolly Parton. Will be on pins and needles for the rest of the year now, waiting for Clay’s next astounding album. Sadly, Ruthie, Decca just may have to pay taxes…Clay’s time has arrived for the world to sit up and take notice…all those fans in Singapore and Korea and Japan…..and Canada…can hardly wait for his next release. Who knows, perhaps his next tour will include all those countries.

Clay is one in a million, and the world is a better place with him in it. Ruthie, if you hate him so much why do you follow him around with your snide remarks? No one here cares what you think, so get lost already. Jealousy is a terrible thing; SHEESH!
