Wendy Williams Ratings!
When LALATE first profiled the Wendy Williams talk show in 2008, Williams ratings were expected to be great. Now Wendy Williams’ ratings are out, and they are about as impressive as how Lionsgate introduced the program.
But Williams’ ratings are slipping.
Rather than nationally launch the talker, Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury, the series’ distributor, introduced the series recently to Fox TV stations in just four markets, for six weeks. The concept makes sense and proved to work.
In New York, Williams her first week among women in New York 18 to 34 Wndy was number 1, and in week two among 18 to 49 women for New York Williams held at second.
But last week, nationally, Williams’ ratings reportedly fell 10% to 0.9 compared by the distributor’s other property Trivial Pursuit which was up 20% to 0.6.

Her ratings are slipping. the only demo she has is NYC women 18-25 and that has shown to be weakening from week 1 to week 2. The scary thing is that she has been promoted as much as a human being can be promoted and that’s ALL she can garner?

I love Wendy on the radio, but her television format is wack. I don’t see her as a tv personality. Stay in your lane, Wendy.

This show is absolutely terrible…..When a host does a show by sitting a reading off paper it’s time to go. Wendy doesn’t have a clue to being on a talk show….who approved this garbage? OMG I cannot believe people actually watch this….take her off!!

I like the show. She is definitely over the top, and that’s what I like it. Everything about her is “in access.” Her blunt openess is a bit refreshing. She is funny to me. I would like to see her “sit better” without showing half of her butt. She’s a strange character, and that’s catchy.

Umm, Have you seen the Tyra show lately? Boo.. Wendy is a welcome breath of real people. I love her larger than life personality. It’s fun. Now, I will admit, the very first few episodes of the show sucked. I didn’t like it but it has improved, considerably. I’m glad its still on. Loved her on the radio and love her crazy self on tv, too. “HOW YOU DOIN”

Well Wendy, you dogged people out for years on the radio. Now you can’t book decent guest? ARE YOU SHOCKED? The show falls flat. You were “funnier” on the radio. Now you’re trying to be “america’s sweetheart”, we ain’t buying it. Pack up and head for XM where you can be the shock jock that got you where you are. Wendy is not keeping it 100. How dare she dog celebrities out throughout her radio days and then turnaround and act like she everyones biggest fan “friend in my head BS, GTFOH”. Wendy stands for everything that is wrong with the industry and the self-esteem of women today. People can say what they want about Tyra, she is a role model and doesnt compromise her morals and beliefs for anyone. To me Tyra is real. If Wendy came on the scene that same Wendy from radio I could respect her but to me she is just a sell-out!

Wendy is a vindictive, hateful, mean spirited person. Her and her husband are beyond sick. Hopefully she will be off t.v. soon and take time to get the counseling she needs so desperately. What her husband did to Nicole and her response to his sexual abuse is frightening. God don’t like ugly Wendy. You are ugly outside and inside. You need a cleansing and spiritual healing.

I personally think the Wendy Williams’ TV show is the worse!!! The fact that it is on FOX speaks volumes, after all it seems that FOX see minorities as nothing but jokes and she is living up to the part 100%. How many times will she have the SAME has beens repeatedly on her show? I DON’T watch it, but every time I see the promo she appears to be announcing the same guest. I feel sorry to her…she has let that hoodrat, goofball abuser husband destroy her career…smdh!!!

I love Wendy Williams. I tape her every night. She makes me laugh and I enjoy her audience too. Keep up the good work Wendy.
