The PO has to hire contractors to do the work of the regular employees who can not or will not do their jobs. Meanwhile the regular PO employees do everything in their power to get the contractors fired. It’s amazing that any work gets done in a PO office at all.

Did you know that the PO no longer handles it’s own airmail? It contracts out airmail because it can no longer effectively deliver it. In time the rest of the PO will be phased out for much the same reason. I wish it were otherwise but the bureaucracy and the PO workers have effectively driving a spike into the heart of their business that has already killed it. They just haven’t seen the writing on the wall yet.

I am sure that you send emails, right? The Post Office is not fully supported by the Government, they depend on people sending mail, companies sending ads and catalogs and this has greatly decreased in the past few years. The post office needs to greatly cut back on the number of offices! If you think they should not, then i suggest you stop sending emails and send anything you need to by sending an actual letter…until you do this, stop talking!
