Lil Wayne has not been shot. Lil Wayne is not dead.
But it’s Sunday afternoon – and you know what that means? Sunday afternoons has been dominated by celebrity fake death report today since 2008. You actually predict that by 3:00 pm PST every Sunday expect to read online false plane or train crashes of celebrities. The most common celebrity to fake die on Sundays – Lil Wayne – followed by Miley Cyrus. In fact, this same Lil Wayne fake rumor spread in November 2008.
But yet again – Rick Astley is alive. Miley is doing great. And Lil Wayne totally fine. Now, Drake falling on stage Friday, that’s a different story!

As reported here previously, while the death reports seem to populate more among music celebrities, an upswing lately is coming in fake film star deaths. Also, cause of fake death reports have changed. There has been also a recent rise of fake foreign hotel room stories.
Lil Wayne is alive and well. Drake’s legs? Still no update.
