NEA money from the Stimulus package is being used to screen Thundercrack the movie and a production of Perverts Put Out. Thundercrack is getting critics reviews today. But Thundercrack (aka Thunder crack) is not getting released. Thundercrack’s screenings are getting your stimulus money.

Why?

First, what is Thundercrack?

Thundercrack! was a 1975 black comedy film that has scenes unsuitable for children. The scenes were all out there (use your imagination – it covers it all).

Second, there is a stage production in San Francisco called “Perverts Put Out” self described as a “long-running pansexual performance series” where theatre patrons should “join your fellow pervs for some explicit, twisted fun.” Say what?!

What do the two have in common? They are taking stimulus package money through NEA to “entertain” patrons! Awful.

Fox says of it the following:

The National Endowment for the Arts may be spending some of the money it received from the Recovery and Reinvestment Act to fund nude simulated-sex dances, Saturday night “pervert” revues and the airing of pornographic horror films at art houses in San Francisco.

How much did NEA get? $80 million! Crazy. Frameline film house got $50,000 and is screening Thundercrack, the perv group got in excess of $20,000

NEA says the money helps “jobs”. Sure it is, NEA.

“Our review process is very comprehensive — we take great care with applicants and with grantees. It’s a thorough, rigorous process that they all go through, and we’re proud of the projects that we’ve been able to support.”

Now Joe Jackson has told press that Omer Bhatti is in fact Michael’s secret “love child”. But are people believing Joe Jackson?

Bhatti’s own father had recently said since Jackson’s death “He was the King of Pop. But for us he was so much more”.

Pia Bhatti is from Norway and reportedly worked for Jackson during his career with Omer’s step father. Jackson has said to (at least affectionately) refer to Omer as his son and Riz Bhatti has since Jackson’s death said “Make what you like. I don’t want to discuss anything.”

Make what we like?

In the weeks since LALATE first ran the story, readers on LALATE have been split as to whether Bhatti is in fact Jackson’s son, with a slight weight in favor. But elsewhere, especially on sites reporting Joe Jackson’s comments today, the sentiment has been one of disbelief, not believing Joe Jackson’s claims, some even referencing an alleged music deal having Bhatti alleged signed to Joe Jackson’s label.

As you can see in the above photos, Omer Bhatti sat in the front row next to Jackson’s sisters and brothers during the Michael Jackson Memorial. British reports from the Sun first claimed Bhatti came from a one night encounter between Michael Jackson and Pia Bhatti in 1984. If that’s true, why doesn’t Pia Bhatti come out and acknowledge it. Unconfirmed claims suggest his mother may have been a nurse to Jackson, that Omer lived at Neverland Ranch in the 1990s, and his stepfather was an employee of Jackson.

In 2004, FOX reported that Michael would refer to Omer as his son. But was he really? Another insider reportedly claims that Jackson never met Omer’s mother until 1996: “I’m not surprised Michael says he’s the father. It’s a fantasy. But these people did not exist in Michael’s life before 1996.”

Anna Davlantes is leaving WMAQ Channel 5.

But why? Anna Davlantes’s exit from Channel 5 was covered in a two sentence email from the station manager today. The station was reportedly seeking to renew her contract after nine years with the station. Anna Davlantes is not commenting but comes shortly after Bob Sirott recently left.

Anna Davlantes is originally from Chicago and previously worked in Houston, Indiana, and Chicago.

Said the station manager:

“We appreciate Anna’s contributions over the last nine years, and wish her the best in the future”.

VIDEO! Watch video as 7 Year Old steals a car. The 7 year old stole a car rather to avoid going to church.

Crazy.

Police followed and what then happened was a low-speed- I dont wanta go to church – pursuit. Where did this anti-church chase happen? Utah!

The youth was driving a Dodge Intrepid 45 miles north of Salt Lake City. The kid is too young to be charged with a crime, and he never exceeded the speed limit. However, he keeps this up, he’s not speed to heaven anytime soon.

News of the death of Rev Ike today. Reverend Ike has died. Rev Ike who from United Church Science of Living Institute inspired a nation died in Los Angeles yesterday.

Ike had suffered a stroke in 2007 and never fully recovered. Several years ago Rev. Ike moved to Los Angeles.

Ike was 74.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced. Upon his retirement, Rev. Ike’s ministry was taken over by his son Xavier F. Eikerenkoetter. Rev Ike is survived by Xavier and wife Eula May Dent.
