Zac Efron fans got a sight to see today as their favorite Disney star took the big jump. And by all accords, it appears the video hasn’t been the easiest to watch, even for the earnest of Efron fans.

Bruce Rossmeyer, one of Harley Davidson’s biggest dealership owners, has died. Harley Davidson’s Bruce Rossmeyer death came today in Wyoming in a motorcycle crash. Bruce owned 13 dealerships, his first since 1969, now with dealerships in Florida, Colorado, Massachusetts and Tennessee.

His charity work included work with Camp Boggy Creek and “Ride for Children”. He also assisted Boys & Girls Clubs and “Kyle Petty Ride Across America”.

Bruce Rossmeyer was reportedly killed at 11 am. Law enforcement tells press:

“The pickup slowed and activated his left signal. Four of the motorcycles passed to the left . . . When Mr. Rossmeyer attempted to pass, the truck made its left turn and he hit the driver’s side door. The sixth motorcycle swerved to the right and avoided collision.”

Daytona Beach Mayor Glenn Ritchey issued the following statement today:

“[It] is a terrible tragedy for our area. In addition to being a prominent businessman, Bruce Rossmeyer was involved in many charitable activities for the community. He’ll be greatly missed. My heart goes out to his family.”

Funeral arrangements have not been announced. Bruce Rossmeyer will be greatly missed.

David Big Papi Ortiz tested positive for performance enhancing drugs in 2003, claims a document revealed by the New York Times today.

David Big Papi Ortiz joins Manny Ramirez on a list reveals by lawyers to the New York Times today. The list was seized by Federal agents and then became involved in a suit between MLB’s players union and the government. Now today the shocker in the Times claims the list includes along with Ortiz the following: Barry Bonds, Alex Rodriguez, Sammy Sosa, Jason Grimsley and David Segui.

Ramirez’s agent wont comment. Ortiz said the following:“I’m not talking about that anymore. I have no comment.”

No comment by the union or the government.

In 2007, Ortiz reportedly said that he would buy as a kid protein shakes in the Dominican Republic and didn’t know if they contained a performance-enhancing drug.

“I don’t do that anymore because they don’t have the approval for that here, so I know that, so I’m off buying things at the GNC back in the Dominican Republic. I don’t know if I drank something in my youth, not knowing it.”

A brewing debate is on tap for the Obama White House Beer Summit 2009! The Obama White House Beer Summit is not getting a toast from press.

Why? Is it because the press core needs hard liquor to listen to Crowley? Or is it because the press is on the Rush Limbaugh (no alcohol stimulus) Diet? No, it’s because the Beer Bash Summit between Obama, professor Henry Louis Gates, and Sgt. James Crowley is closed to press.

Why? Glossy eyes look better in photos!

Obama calls the event a “teachable moment.” So why isn’t press allowed to cover? Even worse, when Obama is down drinking, he’s not answering questions.

Oh come on, drink up and speak to press!

No thank you, says Obama’s team, who will not make him available after drinking. But Obama’s press team says Crowley and Gates can talk to press (if they choose, and of course can).

And who’s drinking what?

Officer Justin Barrett sent a mass email on Henry Louis Gates. Justin Barrett’s email has prompted the mayor to ask for Barrett, currently suspended, to be fired.

The Barrett mass email reportedly called Henry Louis Gates a “banana-eating jungle monkey”. But Barrett says he didn’t intend to offend anyone with the email.

Barrett reportedly tells WCVB-TV:

“I did not mean to offend anyone. The words were being used to characterize behavior, not describe anyone. I didn’t mean it in a racist way. I treat everyone with dignity and respect.”

Say what?

Not buying that story is Boston’s mayor who wants Barrett out for good – not just suspended but fired. The mayor says “he’s gone!” calling Barrett a cancer.

Matt Collette of the Boston Globe was reportedly a recipient of the email. Matt says he just pressed delete before reading the full email:

“Among these, Barrett’s didn’t even stand out, until yesterday, when news broke that his e-mail to me had gotten him suspended. He was apparently so proud of it that he circulated it among friends and colleagues…. But when somebody begins with insults, racial epithets, or both, I hit the delete button.

“…. So while the beginning of Barrett’s e-mail is familiar to me, the rest of it I never saw. Like so many of these kinds of e-mails, it was an anonymous rant. I can’t recall the exact part that made me hit delete.”
