Burke’s lawyer issued the following statement to press Wednesday:

Jude was previously married to Sadie Frost with whom he has three kids.

IMDB has listed a Samantha Burke here but without a photo listed it’s not clear if it’s the same person.

After weeks of American tv viewers being exhausted by repetitive stories about Dr Conrad Murray, suddenly Wednesday TV news realized they have overlooked the story of Michael Jackson’s alleged secret son, an alleged love child named Omer.

In the weeks that have passed, the story has really taken a life of its own because of the conflicting positions manifested from both sides. Initially British press (the Sun) claimed that Omer was the result of a one night encounter between Michael Jackson and Pia Bhatti, a reoccurring employee of Jackson along with her husband. Both Pia, Omer, and/or Omer’s legal father lived and/or worked for Jackson sometime during the pop singer’s career.

Then came statements from Omer’s listed father not asserting he is Omer’s biological father. Riz Bhatti has since Jackson’s death said simply:

“Make what you like. I don’t want to discuss anything.”

From there we had US reports such as FOX News reporting DNA test were scheduled. But whatever happened from that? And we also had reports that Bhatti’s family allegedly only appeared in Jackson’s life years later and hence couldn’t be his son.

There was no statement by Pia. When asked, Pia refused to comment. A source told the Star:

“Pia was sworn to secrecy about Blanket. The agreement she had with Michael was that she would never reveal herself to be Blanket’s mum.”

Next, Omer was cited in the Mirror denying he is Jackson’s son. And then finally on Wednesday Joe Jackson said Omer is Michael’s son.

Cash for Clunkers money was suspended on Thursday after just 6 days. Cash for Clunkers was suspended Thursday as reported yesterday after running through all the $1 billion in six days.

What does that mean for you today, Friday? Don’t go to the dealerships asking for Cash for Clunkers vouchers – they won’t be and shouldn’t be honored.

It’s a shocking development to apparent very incorrect news reports on Wednesday that said only $96 million had been used and told consumers the program could last for weeks – it lasted for 24 hours more and consumed all the $1 billion. How did the information get out so wrong to consumers?

While the delivery of news updates were flawed, Washington is applauding CARS’ success. Senator Debbie Stabenow said it was a great success in a statement:

“It is amazing that ‘cash for clunkers’ would be this successful this quickly. I urge Congress and the administration to provide additional funding.”

Good luck. As consumers were hoping to get vouchers this weekend, that’s not happening and the timeline is in question. The program’s official name is the Car Allowance Rebate System, and as of Friday the White House is not commenting if the CARS program will get additional funding. However, insiders tell Bloomberg Friday that Obama Administration officials are looking and seeing if additional funding is logical and would pass.

East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives confirmed Benjamin Carey Brown was been found dead in the bushes near the United Plaza Building shortly after midnight Thursday evening. In a statement Friday, investigators believe no foul play and suspect cause of death is from a fall or jump.

Ben reportedly worked as an accountant with Postlethwaite & Netterville and had gone missing since Wednesday. Reason for his death is under investigation.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
