The couple were murdered Thursday night in their home. Initial reports had said some of their children were not home at the time. That report has since been revised with indication that all 16 were home during the invasion robbery.

Moreover, reports now state that of the 16 kids, 12 were adopted, and the Billings were known to care for troubled and disabled children in need of help.

No children were hurt during the robbery. Police are looking at home surveillance footage for additional leads. The couple lived in the Beulah Community on Mobile Highway.
