A tornado has hit Dickinson ND. The Dickinson Press reports a Tornado hit the region late last night. While injuries have not been reported, the 70 mph winds caused significant structural damage, power outages, and downed trees.

The evening tornado prompted the state’s governor John Hoeven to send forty national guard soldiers to assist by Thursday. The tornado was reportedly spotted shortly before 7:30 pm local time last night.

Other areas significantly hit include Morton County and Burke County. Grain and oil facilities in the region suffered damage also.

The region is currently cleared of any other severe weather warnings.
