Pete King Michael Jackson YouTube!

VIDEO. Watch Congressman Peter King’s YouTube video on Michael Jackson. Peter King says Michael Jackson shouldn’t be honored this week.
Congressman Peter King says press is disgracing itself by covering Jackson to such extent.
Among King’s comments:
“Let’s knock out the psychobabble. This guy was a pervert …. and to be giving this much coverage to him day-in, day-out, what does it say about us as a country?
Peter King thinks Michael Jackson only had “some” talent:
“We’re too politically correct. No-one wants to stand up and say we don’t need Michael Jackson. He died, he had some talent, fine. People are dying every day,
Peter King also thinks Michael Jackson did “some” dancing in his career and may have been only a “good” singer:
“I really think the media has disgraced itself. I think too many people in public life have made fools of themselves by talking about Michael Jackson as if he’s some kind of hero. There’s nothing good about this guy.
“He may have been a good singer, did some dancing. But the bottom line is would you let your child or grandchildren be in the same room with Michael Jackson?”

you are a sad example of a politician. While i can understand your frustration in re: to the 4th of july and its focus (in your eyes) being to centered on MJ. He did alot for the world not only through his music but through his philanthropic contributions(more than any other ) It is important to pay homage to such a great legend who we were fortunate enough to call an American and whom we shared the planet with. He is VERY important and will be sorely missed and you probably should not be so jealous of the recognition they he receives in death. He is a notable figure in our society and contributed to the greater good of our human race as well as incredibly talented.Thank God for him.

Poor Congressman King…Name calling and hating are so what we need to get past. As a politician, you would think that you would be more open to the concept of ,”One Nation Under God”,but its clear that you don’t believe in our american judicial system. MJ was aquitted on all 14 child molestation charges . Not to recognize his extreme and unique talent shows that you are out of touch with reality as well.Maybe you are older and did not grow up with Mj’s music, but he did touch alot of lives and many of his tunes were a part of us growing up. Those childhood and young adult memories for most are priceless. yes he gave us all that and more. Unfortunately to do so, he did not have a youth of his own. This is a terrible existence to imagine! What no childhood! One can only be grateful that he sacrificed his for us to have ours! Not to mention the millions of people he helped through his charitable work throughout his career. Yep Guiness Book Of Records baby! Check it out! Anyway , May Michael R.I.P and May his family find solace in the attention and admiration he receives. The coverage is great and helps many to be able to accept and let go after such a shocking death. I have also has addiction problems in my life and I wish there would have been someone who could have gotten through to MJ but God has him in his loving arms now and he will be safe and at Peace. In that I find comfort!

While you ,Mr. King are entitled to your opinion on the amount of coverage given to MJ..the name calling is appalling, especially the words you used. My gosh, are you an uneducated idiot or what? You are a hater and no wonder we still have so much prejudice in the world! People in congress using words like , “pervert”, to describe Michael, who ,(btw) was aquitted on the charges , shows your own ignorance. to get your point across, you could have easily and intelligently conveyed your dumb message in a more professional manner. There are scores of people who share your opinion on the amount of coverage being given Mr. Jackson, but most of them who post are just like you and ignorantly call him names and act as though they are for the children, but its BS. Michael was for the children and my own Grandchildren were at Neverland, both boys. Neither was ever molested or feared being molested . They had the most memorable time there and as young adults today, still hold those memories close to their heart. Unfortunately, Michael like many other celebs are targets for extortion and MJ was no different. Being eccentric, and controversial is part of celebrity. sometimes masking the pain of the lonliness we can only imagine. You really have no idea ! But the media coverage will soon disappear my friend, and you can go back to being a ,closet racist”, and what not! I won’t waste my time on judging you, but I will feel sorry for those citizens that you represent in the State of NY. I am sure there are others, but most are smart enough to represent in a more credible light!

Please note —- 7 US troops killed in Afghanistan today — does anyone know thier names ? does anyone care ? The Rev. Al Sharpton thinks Michael Jackson deserves to be honored commensurate with his star status. That means a postage stamp, a national day of mourning—and deferential treatment from the media. Sharpton he would push for a commemorative Jackson stamp and a waiver of the U.S. Postal Service’s five-year waiting period, postdeath. (The only exception so far has been for late presidents. Like Jackson done anything worthy ??!!??) Sharpton also took issue with how certain press outlets have covered Jackson’s death, saying there was a “disrespectful double standard” between the “Thriller” singer and other fallen icons such as Frank Sinatra or Elvis Presley. So its a race thing Sharpton !!! if not then why bring in Elvis and Sinatra into it ??

I think you, Peter King, do not deserve to carry the title of a Congressman and you are what give Americans a bad name.
Michael Jackson was a legend and will always be remembered as one. He touched people’s hearts all over the world and could never be replaced and will be sadly missed. I can promise you this is one thing that will never be said about you.
The best thing that I can say about you is you are a very hateful, coldhearted s.o.b. Stick that in you pipe and smoke it.

When I heard New York’s Republican Peter King slander Michael Jackson on National TV I couldn’t believe my ears, I said to myself: “And this a politician saying this things ? how ignorant is he?!” I just want to say to the following him: Pete I bet you couldn’t accomplish one tenth of what Michael Jackson has accomplished in his short life, and Pete… Michael Jackson moved the world with his presence, music, dancing, and his passion to keep giving all he could to the entire world, and I guess Pete with that statement you made, you showed people how shallow and disgusting you are as a politician. I as a law biding working New Yorker I feel there is no place or need to have someone like you representing the City of New York. RIP Michael Jackson the world would never forget what a beautiful person you were and will be for all of us forever.

Sir, Michael had been giving your country honors, prestige and huge art contribution thru his wonderful music and craft since he was just a child. What about you, sir? I presumed that you have just taken your post as a politician when you are already old. How may contributions did you have to your drowning country? Sigh, I just wish Michael was a Filipino. Because here in our country, we appreciate every talent and contribution of our brothers, no matter how small they are. God bless you sir. I just hope when you passed away, people will remember you like how people around the world remember Michael Jackson.

Maybe Mr. King should check out his own doorstep before calling other people names that are not thiers. Michael Jackson deserves all the praise he is and will get from everyone in the world. Has Mr. King ever donated anything but his opion to anything. Maybe the people that elected you should stop and think about what would be better for our country, A man with an opion that makes no sense (as in our counrty once your are proven innocent by a court of law that is supposed to be accepted as true) or a man who only wanted to have our people be proud to love each other. Have you Mr. King never listened to Michale Jackson speak about anything. If you had I am sure (if you had an once of love in your heart) you would have known that he could not have done what he was accused of. Michael has said many times we are losing the love of family due to lack of interest in our children, he wanted everyone to love each other in a family way. So if you are one of those sick people that think sex has any thing to do with what he wanted you are the one who should be ashamed, not the world for showing love to a man whose mission in life was to show love to everyone around him.

You know people like this man really get on my nerves. Let me tell you a story about a young girl who was ill most of her childhood, she could not go out and play like most kids in her community, so her daddy would every week on his way home from work would stop a store and buy a new 45 record as music was about the only thing that made his daughter feel happy. Then in 1972 when she was 10 he brought home to her a song by Michael Jackson called “Ben” if you listen to this song it also talks about a child who did not have many friends, so it made her feel like he was her friend, since they both had the same life style. Her daddy had written a letter to Michael to thank him for making his little girl so happy. Well lets skip forward about 20 years and this same woman now was living on a military base, her husband had been deployed to the Gulf and she had just learned that the barracks he had been assigned to had just been hit by missels. She was trying to get her groceries and her three small children home when for behind she heard a voice ask “my I be of help” she turned around and there stood Michael Jackson with the base commander, Well the bags went to the ground and she started to cry uncontrolably, the children thought this man must have done something to mommy to make her cry, so she had told them her story and that this was the best friend mommy had as a child. They thought that was just great. Well Michael and the commander help the lady home with her kids and groceries and Michael spent most of that day with her. While talking to Michael she had explained about what she had told her children, his comment was “that was you?” She thought he was just being nice until he told her exactly how her daddy had signed off on the letter. “In closing this letter I would just like to say that any one my daught can love as much as you I would be very proud to call you friend, with all my love and admiration” that was exactly word for word how that letter was signed. I know this because I am the girl in this comment and maybe if we could all show just a little of that love to each other, maybe we could have a great world to pass on to our children and grandchildren
