Suggestion of Indiana, Neverland, and elsewhere have now been trumped for the spot where Jackson’s body has sat since passing last week – Hollywood’s Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles.

Acting Los Angeles Mayor Jan Perry confirms moments ago that Jackson will be buried at Forest Lawn cemetery Tuesday morning in the early morning before his 10 am memorial at Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles.

Few details have been released about the funeral, closed to members of Jackson’s family. Initially, details of performers for the memorial have yet to be released officially. Reports say memorial performers could include Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Lionel Richie, and potentially Diana Ross.

Jan Perry tells NBC4 Los Angeles that the Jackson funeral at Forest Lawn will held at 8:00 am.
