Mechelle Cartwright Update!
WSMV has withdrawn reports that Mechelle Cartwright, Steve McNair’s wife, was killed in the shooting. Mechelle Cartwright, McNair’s wife, was mentioned in WSMV coverage of the murder suicide but since withdrawn reports Darren Rovell.
As of the moment, the identity of the female in the Steve McNair shooting remains unknown.
UPDATE - Victim is Sahel Kazemi - Steve McNair’s alleged mistress.
Police tell WTVF in Nashville Steve has been killed in a double shooting being ruled initially as a murder suicide. The shooting was at 2nd South & Lea Ave. in Nashville. Police have reports reportedly
yet to identify the female nor indicate if McNair was the suicide or homicide victim.
The Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been killed in a single gun shot to the head.
UPDATE #1 Rovell reports AP confirms the female victim is not Mechelle Cartwright.
