Phoenix Mercury basketball star Diana Taurasi has been handed a DUI arrest. Diana Taurasi’s DUI arrest comes hours after the basketball star helped her team to a win over the Seattle Storm.

Diana Taurasi was stopped after allegedly speeding and failing to stay in one lane. Police reports claim Diana Taurasi had alcohol on her breath and was administered not one but multiple sobriety tests. Cops cited her and released her to friends, saying she was very kind and polite through the whole citation.

ABC15 News reports the Phoenix Mercury will not release a public statement at this time.

Diana Taurasi is a three-time WNBA All-Star guard, the team’s leading scorer, pulling in a 21 point average game. Blood alcohol levels were not released.
