Michael Jackson memorial reports broke to you earlier have now been verified – Jackson’s memorial WILL NOT happen at Neverland Ranch.

Jackson’s family has just issued a statement saying the memorial won’t be at Neverland. The family had not issued a statement about the Ranch initially. Instead Neverland Ranch memorial statement was issued by the property’s (at one time note holder) Colony Capital.In the days that followed, local police confirmed no contact from Jackson family members preparing for the Neverland Ranch.

Moments ago the Jackson family said

1. the memorial won’t be at Neverland Ranch

2. the location of the memorial has yet to be chosen

3. the family has hired a new public relations firm.

Earlier today LALATE told you that Los Angeles reports say Staples Center is being considered as a location for the memorial, not yet confirmed.
