A Kim Zolciak NeNe Leakes fight? Kim Zolciak has filed a police report against NeNe Leakes! Kim Zolciak’s assault allegations against Leakes claim an exchange while shooting a scene for “Real Housewives of Atlanta” had just a bit too much drama.

Ironically, news of the police report hits today, 24 hours after season 2’s premiere.

Entertainment Tonight says NeNe pointed her finger at Kim’s face, that NeNe finger was big NoNo reportedly to Kim, a witness tried to break it up, and then according to the police report NeNe allegedly “grabbed [Kim] by the neck and tried to choke her out.”

Choke her “out”? Kim Z then Z-ipped to the police station and filed the report. Police have not yet interviewed NeNe. Leakes was not interviewed for the ET article.

No tables were flipped over during the Housewives’ exchange. Of course not; this is Atlanta, not New Jersey.

Former Philippine President Corazon “Cory” Aquino has died. Cory Aquino’s death was confirmed 3:18 am today. Corazon Aquino was 76.

Cory Aquino died of cardiorespiratory arrest at 3:18 a.m. at the Makati Medical Center. She had been hospitalized there since June of this year. Her son Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III issued the following statement today:

“She would have wanted us to thank each and everyone of you for all your continued love and support. It was her wish for all of us to pray for one another and for our country”

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo issued the following statement:

“President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo joins the rest of the nation in mourning the demise of former president Cory Aquino and joins the entire country in expressing our most sincere condolences to the Aquino family over this development”.

The Palace has declared a week of mourning and is now preparing a “state of funeral honors” for the late president. Reports said she had learned she had advanced colon cancer in 2008 but was too weak to continue chemotherapy.

Funeral arrangements and a memorial are pending. Corazon Aquino will be greatly, greatly missed.

Jake Peavy’s trade to the White Sox was just announced before today’s non-waiver trading deadline. Jake Peavy has been traded to the White Sox from the Padres in exchange for four pitchers.

Says reports, Peavy disapproved the trade months ago but this time around gave his okay. Peavy was reportedly traded for Clayton Richard and three minor league pitchers. Richard is 4-3 with 4.65. The names of the minor pitchers were not released to press today.

But the bigger question - how about Peavy’s injury? Jake remains on the DL list with the injury to his right ankle. His stats for the season have been 6-6, 3.97 era.

The space shuttle Endeavour landing path came into to Kennedy Space Center today. After tracking the Space Shuttle for 16 days in space, NASA welcomed Endeavor home Friday. The shuttle touched down at 10:48:08 am. Mission control announced its return, the exchange went as follows:

“Houston, Endeavour, wheels stopped.”

“Roger wheels stopped, Endeavour. Welcome home.

“Congratulations on a superb mission from beginning to end. Very well done.”

“Well, thanks to you and the whole team. That’s what it’s all about. And we’re happy to be home.”

Welcomed home were Polansky, Hurley, Payette, Wolf, Cassidy and Marshburn !

September 20 starts the 2009 Seinfeld Reunion. The Seinfeld Reunion on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm will span five episodes as broke in March on LALATE and reconfirmed Thursday.

It’s been 11 years in the making, and now it’s happening. Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander, and Michael Richards will guest star on Curb Your Enthusiasm starting September 20th all playing themselves, not their Seinfeld characters. They will be playing themselves preparing for a shooting of a Seinfeld Reunion inside the frame of Curb.

Larry David explains this week:

“We’re going to see writing. We’ll see aspects of the read-through, parts of rehearsals. You’ll see the show being filmed and you’ll see it on TV. You won’t see the entire show. You’ll see parts of the show. You’ll get an an idea of what happened 11 years later.

“It will be incorporated into regular Curb episodes, so the castmembers will be playing themselves on Curb while all of this is going on.”

So exciting!

Burke’s lawyer issued the following statement to press Wednesday:

“Since informing Mr Law of the pregnancy he has been nothing but responsive and supportive of Ms Burke and the pregnancy.”

Jude was previously married to Sadie Frost with whom he has three kids.
