May’s death has shocked PITCHMEN fans Sunday. But questions surround if a failure by Mays to wear his seat belt during an unusual plane landing hours before his death contributed to his suddenly passing.

Here is the latest.

Billy Mays arrived Saturday night on US Airways Flight 1241. In the landing, Mays’ head reportedly got struck from above by something when the plane’s front tire blew. Mays told local Fox News last night:

“All of a sudden as we hit you know it was just the hardest hit, all the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head.”

Mays thought he was fine. But hours late, at home Sunday morning, Billy was found dead by his wife.

She has issued the following statement today:

“Although Billy lived a public life, we don’t anticipate making any public statements over the next couple of days. Our family asks that you respect our privacy during these difficult times.”

Billy was 50.

The death of Billy Mays is shocking PITCHMEN fans Sunday. Billy Mays, Pitchman for OxiClean and Orange Glo, has died.

The legendary Mays has been featured on LALATE several times for his Discovery Channel TV series called Pitchmen that co stars Anthony Sullivan. The show premiered in April this year. Mays revealed on a recent June 10 episode that the blue shirt idea came from Sullivan during a 1999 shoot for OxiClean.

Mays was found dead Sunday in his home in Tampa. Billy was 50.

His wife found him dead shortly before 8 am local time, unresponsive. She has just released the following statement:

Although Billy lived a public life, we don’t anticipate making any public statements over the next couple of days. Our family asks that you respect our privacy during these difficult times.

Reports say Mays was on a flight just last night that blew out its front tires in landing at Tampa. No one was injured but some passengers reportedly suffered bumps and bruises. Mays was reportedly healthy when he got home later that night.

The local Coroner’s Office has reportedly schedule an autopsy for Monday.

Reports claim Murray gave Michael Jackson CPR on the 911 tape released. By Friday the car that Murray was borrowing, a 6 series BMW, was reportedly towed from the Jackson home by LAPD.

Murray is now reportedly represented by Ed Chernoff of Stradley, Chernoff and Alford. Chernoff told the Houston Chornicle today:

“He intends to cooperate. He has nothing to hide. He is going to help them in any way he can with their investigation.

“We’ve been told more than once that this is an investigation into the death, that it’s not a murder investigation and that Dr. Murray is not a suspect in any way. This is just an information-gathering meeting and nothing more.”

Murray has not been missing, nor hiding, nor at an unknown location as countless wrong reports have stated in the last 36 hours, claims Murray’s lawyer:

“He didn’t go anywhere. The police have known where he is and they’ve been in contact with him. … Dr. Murray talked to homicide immediately after Michael Jackson was taken to the hospital. He was cooperative with them.”

Murray already has spoken at least once with LAPD and will be reportedly speaking with them at 4 pm today Saturday again, claims TMZ.

Officers had reportedly received a complaint that a guy was walking around nude. When they came to the camp site they found Mark Musselwhite unclothed at the Rabun County location.

WE ARRIVED AT THIS LOCATION AROUND 2249 HRS. I OBSERVED A MALE SUBJECT SITTING NUDE IN A CHAIR IN FRONT OF HIS CAMPER/HORSE TRAILER. WE MADE CONTACT WITH THE SUBJECT WHO EARLIER IN THE DAY I HAD IDENTIFIED AS MARK MUSSELWHITE. I HAD SPOKEN WITH HIM EARLIER THAT DATE IN REFERENCE TO AN ATV HE HAD BEEN RIDING IN THE AREA. HE LOOKED AT US AND SAID HELLO.

I ASKED HIM WHAT HE WAS DOING, HE SAID HE WAS JUST SITTING HERE AND ASKED IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM. I DID NOTICE HE WAS DRINKING AND APPEARED VERY INTOXICATED. I ASKED HIM WHY HE DID NOT HAVE ANY CLOTHES ON, AND HE SAID HE WAS HOT AND HAD BEEN IN THE CREEK. AT THAT POINT HE WANTED TO KNOW WHY WE WERE THERE AND WHAT HE WAS DOING WRONG. I ADVISED HIM THAT WE HAD GOTTEN COMPLAINTS ABOUT A MAN WALKING AROUND NUDE IN THE AREA.

STILL NUDE, HE TOLD ME THAT IT WAS NOT HIM. I SAID THE COMPLAINTANT HAD SPECIFICALLY SAID HIS CAMPSITE, AND THE FACT THAT HE WAS STILL NUDE MADE ME THINK IT WAS HIM.
