Michale Jackson’s nurse Cherilyn Lee says Jackson was taking Diprivan (aka Propofol) by IV. Cherilyn Lee, Michael Jackson’s nurse / nutritionist, just concluded a stunning Campbell Brown CNN exclusive interview moments ago.

Here are some of the details of that interview.

Cherilyn Lee says she met Jackson in January as a nurse called for his kids for running noses. She shortly got the interest of Jackson pleased that his kids felt better because of her service.

Lee says that in her time of servicing Jackson from January to March 2009 she never saw a doctor present and did not know who his doctor was.

Lee then explained weeks before Jackson’s death he was taking Diprivan also called Propofol by IV. When she found he was taking it, she asked him why and he said he was taking it to sleep. She said she asked Michael Jackson which doctor suggested it to him and he had no answer.

Cherilyn Lee said she asked a doctor about the drug. The physician’s response was concern - who is taking this drug at home, this is a drug you give as medication only in ICU, he said.

Lee told Jackson “look this medication is not safe”. Jackson did not follow her advice.

Brown asked Lee if she knew which doctor was giving it to him. Cherilyn Lee said she did not and did not see a doctor attending to Jackson during this time.

Days before Jackson’s death, Lee got a phone call while out of town from a person. She said she did not want to say who it was but did know the person’s identity. Cherilyn Lee was told of Jackson’s symptoms.

Cherilyn Lee immediately told the person to take Jackson to the hospital. The person did not. She believed the symptoms to be serious.

Following the interview, Sanjay Gupta told CNN this is a drug used in ICU and he was not familiar with someone taking it outside a hospital.
