Billy Mays Funeral St. Mary Church

Funeral arrangements of Billy Mays are set for St. Mary Church.

Billy Mays’ funeral will be at St Mary’s Church in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. The funeral will be Friday at 9:30 AM.

The believed address of the church is as follows:
3 Saint John St
Mc Kees Rocks, PA 15136
412-331-1179

Mays’ son has updated messages for fans about a possible foundation. Mays’ son writes HERE on Twitter:

I’ve decided to start a Billy Mays Memorial Foundation in the coming weeks. I’m still thinking of which particular cause to help with it.

Mays died Sunday in Tampa. He was 50 years old.

Billy Mays’ rise as a pitchman came in 1993 in Pittsburgh when he was hired to promote cleaning products – OxiClean, Orange Clean, Orange Glo, and Kaboom. His signature opener was  “Hi – Billy Mays here for …”

In April this year, Mays came to TV audiences in a new format – a Discovery Channel series called Pitchmen. LALATE featured several of his episodes. And yes, they were hugely read stories about LALATE readers.

On Monday, the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Vernard Adams ruled Mays’ likely cause of death was heart disease:

“[Mays] had an enlarged heart, a thickening of the wall of the ventricle which takes blood to the heart.”

The report found Mays had “hypertensive and arteriosclerotic disease of the heart”.

Billy Mays will be greatly missed. Send your love.

He was a loud-mouthed, annoying blowhard. Hew was apeddler of junk on tv. I couldn’t stand the guy. What good did he do here? It’s a shame that he died so young. His family will miss him, but come on….what did he actually do?

…what have you done in your life you judgmental jerkoff? If you looked past the infomercials, he was a nice guy with a good sense of humor about himself. he had a great persona and he will be missed..

The king of the pitch will be greatly missed. All salespeople can only wish they could have half his success. Billions in retail dollars sold by this susperstar. I’m still in shock at his passing. Life is short, so we all need to live each day to the fullest. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends……

I still can’t believe he’s gone. My husband and I first saw him in the commercials and most recently we have been watching ‘Pitchmen’ regularly on Wednesdays. I was so schocked when my daughter called me to tell me that Billy Mays had died. I wish this was just a bad dream but I know it isn’t. Even though we never met him, like my daughter says it feels almost like he was a member of the family. I had even made a birthday card last year for my husband with Billy May’s picture on it saying “Billy Mays here wishing you a Happy Birthday. It won’t be the same now without Billy Mays.

I think that he’s a great example of someone who loved what he did for a living. It was his own sense of enthusiasm about what he was doing that sold all of those products. As well, he said that he never pitched a product that he did not believe in and that family and friends visiting his home always left left with an armload of his various pitch products. Sure seemed like a well-balanced guy when it came to enjoying his life.
