Fred Travalena DEATH

Fred Travalena’s death has struck fans around the nation. Fred Travalena’s has died at age 66. Travelena had suffered previously from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Travalena was 66.
The impressionist who did Bugs Bunny like no other was on Letterman and countless other late night shows for over thirty years. He appeared on the ABC Comedy Hour and the Dean Martin Roasts. He later hosted Anything For Money, a tv game show.
Travelna’s lymphoma returned in July 2008 after remission started in 2003. He died in Encino, California surrounded by family. “The Man of a Thousand Faces” appeared in several tv specials, besides being a headliner in Las Vegas to Atlantic City.
How many impersonation could he do? Some estimates put it far more than 360 personalities. As the Times remembers, he was able to go in and out of voices, or do one personality doing another celebrity:
“He also was known to sing “Have I Told You Lately” in various voices, including Kermit the Frog (“Have I told you lately that I love you”), Katharine Hepburn (“Have I told you there’s no one else above you”) and Frank Sinatra (“You fill my heart with gladness . . . “)
“The imaginative entertainer even did Sinatra imitating Boy George.”
