Instead, Monday morning Markoff in the three cases - Julissa Brisman, Trisha Leffler, and another unidentified woman - will be indicted and arraigned.

McAllister has previously said of Markoff in an April statement:

“In the past two short weeks, my life and what I hoped my life to be has dramatically changed. I want to thank my family and my friends who have supported me during this very difficult time. Without them, I do not know how I could make it through this nightmare. I hope they know that I love each and every one of them.

I also love my fiancé and I will continue to support him throughout this legal process. My heart goes out to all of those afflicted by these events, especially the families and individuals who have personally suffered from this tragedy.

It is my intent to full cooperate with my fiancé’s attorney as well as, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office as they both continue their investigations. I can only tell them what I know and what is the truth. I will expect that these discussions will occur within the next several days.

What has been portrayed and leaked to the media is not the Philip Markoff that I know. To me and my family, he is a loving and caring person and in the eyes of the law and constitution, he is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. I just can only hope that the criminal justice system will not be overwhelmed and persuaded by what is being put forth in the media. My fiancé’s fate should not rest in the court of public opinion, but rather in a court of law.”

Despite her April position, her finance Monday will be charged, following a grand jury indictment, with “first-degree murder, armed robbery, two counts of armed kidnapping, armed assault with intent to rob, and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm.”

Megan had previously told press the following:

“Unfortunately, you were given wrong information as was the public. All I have to say to you is Philip is a beautiful person inside and out and could not hurt a fly! A police officer in Boston (or many) is trying to make big bucks by selling this false story to the TV stations. What else is new?? Philip is an intelligent man who is just trying to live his life so if you could leave us alone we would greatly appreciate it. We expect to marry in August and share and wonderful, meaningful life together.”

The District Attorney issued the following statement to press today:

“He had a very brief encounter with Julissa Brisman. He bound her hands, he used the same ties that he used on Trisha Leffler, and they had a very, very violent struggle. And, in the course of that struggle, he hit Miss Brisman in the head with his gun. He then pressed the gun into her chest and he fired the gun. She suffered three gunshot wounds and he fled the grounds.”

…. We met while going to college at University at Albany together. Megan was a senior and Phil was a sophomore. Our apartment buildings were right next door and we didn’t even know it until we met one day at the hospital. We both started volunteering at the hospital on September 19, 2005. We volunteered at the Emergecy Room together and spent about 2 months pushing stretchers down hallways and bringing blood and urine samples to pathology together before our first date on November 11, 2005!!
